Hi! I’m Kyle – the Staar Nurse Writer!
I have been a Registered Nurse for six years, and have been working in the healthcare sector for over ten. Always knowing I wanted to help people, I started my career in non-profit, after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing. Wanting to expand my reach, I went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and became a Registered Nurse with hope to empower individuals to best care for themselves and their loved ones.
I aim now to pair my passion for nursing with a love of writing. With years of experience across the lifespan – ranging from pediatrics to hospice – I aim to make health information accessible, relatable and empowering.

I have always loved to write, and research. In fact, one summer I wrote a research paper for myself – just because it was a topic I found interesting! I know, nerd alert!
I grew up in the beautiful town of Boulder, CO. When I am not nursing or writing, I enjoy spending time in the Rocky Mountains with my family and pup, Archie!
